Viewmodel settings in CS2 can significantly impact your gameplay by optimizing screen space and visibility. Here's how to set up and customize your viewmodel for the best gaming experience.

What is a Viewmodel? A viewmodel is your first-person perspective of your weapon and hands in CS2. This is different from what other players see when they look at you.

Best Viewmodel Settings Enter these console commands for optimal visibility:

  • viewmodel_fov 68
  • viewmodel_offset_x 2.5
  • viewmodel_offset_y 1
  • viewmodel_offset_z -1.5

Understanding Offset Commands:

  • X: Adjusts weapon position left/right
  • Y: Controls how far out you hold the weapon
  • Z: Determines weapon height on screen

How to Change Settings

  1. Enable Console:
  • Go to Settings
  • Search for "Console"
  • Set Enable developer console to Yes
  • Press tilde (~) to open
