The National Survey on Gambling Attitudes and Gambling Experiences (NGAGE) provides crucial data to understand gambling behaviors and attitudes across America. These surveys help develop prevention programs and promote responsible gambling practices.

NGAGE 1.0 (2018) Launched in response to the Supreme Court's Murphy case ruling, this initial survey established a baseline of U.S. gambling activities before the widespread expansion of sports betting.

NGAGE 2.0 (2021) This follow-up survey measured changes in national gambling attitudes and experiences compared to the 2018 baseline, tracking the evolution of gambling behaviors and public perception.

NGAGE National Trends Dashboard The dashboard allows users to:

  • Compare data across multiple years and states
  • Analyze gambling behavior trends
  • Track problematic and positive play patterns
  • Monitor public opinions about gambling addiction

Important Note: NGAGE surveys are not designed to measure gambling addiction prevalence rates. Instead, they focus on understanding broader gambling attitudes and experiences to inform public policy and support services.
