In a surprising development for the Dota 2 competitive scene, Nigma Galaxy has been confirmed as Talon Esports' replacement at PGL Wallachia Season 3, scheduled for February 2024. This last-minute roster change comes after Talon Esports withdrew from the tournament due to undisclosed reasons.

The tournament, featuring a $100,000 prize pool, will now see Nigma Galaxy competing alongside seven other teams in Bucharest, Romania. The event is set to run from February 2-4, 2024, marking an important early-season competition in the Dota 2 calendar.

Nigma Galaxy's participation adds significant weight to the tournament, bringing their experienced roster to the competition. The team will face strong opponents including BetBoom Team, Quest Esports, and Into The Breach, among others.

The tournament format remains unchanged, with teams competing in a single-elimination bracket. All matches will be best-of-three series, except for the grand finals, which will be played as a best-of-five.

For Dota 2 fans, this substitution presents an exciting opportunity to see Nigma Galaxy in action during the early part of 2024, potentially showcasing new strategies and team dynamics in the current meta.

The event will be available for viewing on PGL's official streaming channels, with exact broadcast times to be announced closer to the tournament date.
