The Oklahoma State Cowboys face the Baylor Bears in the 2021 Big 12 Championship Game on Saturday at noon at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Oklahoma State enters as 5.5-point favorites with an over/under of 46.5 points.

Baylor (10-2) has engineered a remarkable turnaround under head coach Dave Aranda after going 2-7 last season. They're seeking their first outright Big 12 title since 2014.

Oklahoma State (11-1) aims for their first conference championship since 2011 and could potentially secure a College Football Playoff spot with a victory.

The Cowboys' Defense Leads the Way Oklahoma State's defense has been elite in 2021, ranking in the top 10 nationally by allowing just 16.4 points per game. Only Oklahoma has managed to score more than 24 points against them this season.

The offense has been inconsistent, failing to top 24 points in half their games. QB Spencer Sanders remains a dual-threat but struggles with accuracy, completing 60% of passes with multiple turnovers in key games. RB Jaylen Warren provides a strong ground game with over 1,100 rushing yards.

Quarterback Questions for Baylor The Bears' biggest concern is the status of QB Gerry Bohanon, who missed last week's game due to injury. While freshman Blake Shapen performed adequately in relief, Baylor would prefer their veteran starter for this matchup.

Baylor's defense has been nearly as impressive as OSU's, limiting opponents to 19.7 points per game while forcing 20 turnovers this season, including three in their previous meeting with Oklahoma State.

The quarterback situation for both teams adds uncertainty to this defensive battle, with their play likely determining the outcome of the championship game.
