Eight top-tier Counter-Strike teams have secured direct invitations to PGL Cluj-Napoca, Romania's first Major tournament in 2024. The tournament will feature a total prize pool of $500,000.

The invited teams include:

• FaZe Clan
• Team Vitality
• MOUZ
• G2 Esports
• Cloud9
• Natus Vincere
• Team Spirit
• ENCE

The event will be held from March 10-24, 2024, at the BT Arena in Cluj-Napoca. Eight additional teams will join through regional qualifiers, completing the 16-team roster.

Tournament Format:

• Group Stage: Teams compete in GSL-style double-elimination groups
• Playoffs: Single-elimination bracket featuring the top 8 teams
• All matches will be played in best-of-three format

This marks Romania's return to hosting major CS events since PGL Major Antwerp 2022. Ticket information and broadcasting details will be announced in the coming weeks.

Qualifier spots distribution:

• Europe: 3 slots
• Americas: 2 slots
• Asia: 2 slots
• Oceania: 1 slot

Teams will compete using Counter-Strike 2, marking one of the first major tournaments on the new platform.
