This marks a significant change in the competitive map pool, as Vertigo had replaced Train in CS:GO back in 2019. The community has largely welcomed this switch, as Vertigo has been one of the less popular maps in the pool. However, players have noted that Train still needs some adjustments, with many hoping for quick responses to feedback after the first competitive matches.

Other tournament organizers are expected to adopt this change, following the standard set by Major events in the CS2 competitive scene.
