Treyarch has extended Black Ops 6 and Warzone's double XP weekend by an additional 48 hours, now ending on Feb. 12 at 11am CT. This extension comes after PlayStation Network's 24-hour outage disrupted players' ability to participate in the event during the weekend.

The extension provides players who missed out due to the PSN outage, Super Bowl, or other activities a chance to make up for lost grinding time. While Sony is offering five days of PlayStation Plus compensation for the network issues, this didn't address the lost double XP opportunity.

"Didn't get to play as much as you wanted over the weekend? We got you," Treyarch announced. The extra time will be particularly valuable for players working towards:

  • Master Prestige levels
  • Weapon XP progression
  • Camo unlocks
  • Collection completion

The extension coincides with other game compensations, including additional time for Destiny 2's contest mode and Monster Hunter Wilds' open beta test, which were also affected by the PSN outage.

Following this double XP event, players can look forward to the Season Two Reloaded update, scheduled to arrive in just over a week, bringing new weapons, maps, and additional content to both BO6 and Warzone.
