NFL Foundation Awards 37 Agility Grants for Gambling Prevention Programs

Agility Grants support non-profit organizations in developing and implementing gambling prevention programs at primary and secondary levels. Funded by the NFL Foundation with support from FanDuel, these grants target communities that haven't gambled or have limited gambling experience.

Spring 2022 (Round 1) Recipients:

  • Towson University Foundation: "Tigers Play Responsibly" program reaching 20,000 students
  • Oklahoma Association on Problem Gambling: "I Am Native" Youth Project serving 200 young people
  • Nicasa Behavioral Health Services: Teen Problem Gambling Group expansion
  • Visión y Compromiso: "No Jueuges Tu Vida" program for Latinx communities

Fall 2022 (Round 2) Recipients:

  • Freedom House of Mecklenburg: School-based prevention curriculum for 20,000 students
  • Volunteers of America Oregon: Peer-driven campaign for student athletes
  • Ohio in Arabic: Bilingual awareness campaign "Let Me Tell You Why"

Spring 2023 (Round 3) Recipients:

  • Hispanic UMADAOP: Education campaign for Hispanic youth in Cleveland
  • NAMI Maryland: "Smart Choices for Athletes" program
  • Nevada Council on Problem Gambling: Student-Athlete Gambling Awareness program
  • Nicasa Behavioral Health Services: Teen Problem Gambling Group continuation
  • Student Assistance Services: "Hidden Hazards of Youth Gambling" project

Fall 2023 (Round 4) Recipients:

  • Alabama Council on Compulsive Gambling: "It's More Than Just a Game" program
  • Problem Gambling Coalition of Colorado: Stacked Deck curriculum implementation
  • AdCare Educational Institute of Maine: Youth Gambling Prevention Graphic Novel
  • The LCADA Way: Lorain County Problem Gambling Prevention Initiative
  • Maryland Council on Problem Gambling: Program for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Consumers

Spring 2024 (Round 5) Recipients:

  • Cambridge Health Alliance: Haitian community outreach
  • Cia Siab, Inc.: Bilingual Hmong/English prevention videos
  • Perfil Latino: Hispanic family education campaign
  • Evergreen Council on Problem Gambling: "Youth Have the Power To" program
  • NICOS Chinese Health Coalition: Asian American youth prevention program
  • Ohio State University: Comprehensive gambling prevention program
  • University of Nebraska: Yearlong prevention curriculum
  • Volunteers of America Oregon: "Don't Let the Game Play You" campaign
  • Zepf Center: "Dogs & Dollars" program

  • East Carolina University Foundation: College awareness campaign
