Warzone Hackers Can Force-Ban Players and Crash Lobbies—Fix Coming in January
Parachuting soldiers in Warzone game battle
A serious security vulnerability in Call of Duty: Warzone allows hackers to ban legitimate players and crash entire lobbies, with fixes not expected until early 2024.
Hackers can reportedly trigger RICOCHET Anti-Cheat by mass-reporting players up to 100 times, resulting in automatic account reviews and temporary bans. They can also forcefully crash game lobbies, disrupting gameplay for all participants.
Raven Software has acknowledged these issues, confirming that cheating remains their top priority, especially in Ranked Play. The developer is working with the RICOCHET Anti-Cheat team to address these exploits.
